The place is also known as Udhagamandalam, the capital of the Nilgiri district in Tamil Nadu. Nilgiri mountain ranges are older than the Himalayas. It was a land of tribe Todas. Kodaikanal: Rendezvous With The Blue Hills

It’s a Wonderful experience when you share your thought, your experience, and your pleasure time with friends and family and with the people of the Globe. Today I am here to share my fabulous trip to Kodaikanal district Tamilnadu We started from Bangalore, around 7 AM in the morning. I and my husband and our two friends packed our baggage and started for our weekend trip. From Bangalore via Krishnagiri to Salem, from Salem took a right towards Dindigul, a famous historical place enriching the life of the great Tipu Sultan. Dindigul has a famous fort atop a hill that can be viewed on the way itself. If you can spare some time, then the fort is worth visiting. After Dindigul, a couple of km down, the ghat section starts to climb of approx.60-65 km up the hill to Kodaikanal . we drove all the way. On the way, we took breaks and had our breakfast, lunch.
